ENJOY THE BIG SCREEN AND SUPPORT A LOCAL CAUSE THIS SUMMER

Glenelg Shire Council invites you to pull out your favourite deck chair and relax this summer watching a classic movie under the stars whilst supporting a local not-for-profit group.

Council’s tourism and events team is taking its popular pop-up cinema on the road from November to February in an effort to support the region’s volunteers, to assist in raising much needed funds for important projects and charities.

The road show, which includes five locations, begins at the Heywood Town Green on Friday 30 November 2018 with the Heywood Pioneer Wagon Shed committee hosting a children’s night with the screening of popular animation Ferdinand.

The event will include free children’s activities, face painting, barbecue, plus a huge selection of markets.

Later screenings will be held in Portland, Casterton and Nelson throughout the summer months.
